The countdown to Christmas starts now – with the biggest, brightest, most laughter-filled party in the region. The venue will sparkle with a brand-new festive variety show performed twenty-two times, across the yuletide season.

All you need to bring is your “good cheer” – the show cast will provide the rest! You will be served with a platter of variety that will tickle your taste buds with generous portions of comedy, magic, song and dance, being served.   Whatever flavoursome delicacy suits your palate, the table is spread with something for all the family to sample and enjoy.

Leading the revelry is quick-witted comedian and your party host David Arnold – the globetrotting funny man will keep the pace high from start to finish. He is joined by special guest, comedy magician Peter Baffles, of course he has a few cards up his sleeve as he keeps you amused with his Magical Mayhem and undoubtedly will leave you laughing and gasping in equal measure.

Also returning to the party are some familiar favourites, the delightful vocal sensation Claire Waring, the effervescent vocalist Wayne Martin, powerhouse performer Aimee Evans fresh from Let’s Have A Party, and smooth-voiced musical theatre star, our very own Christmas crooner, Joe Stone. The tinsel and trimmings to decorate this party come in the guise of the enchanting Danze Magique, six dancers whose polished performances will set the stage aglow, this collaboration of stars make up a bumper party bag!

You can expect a party playlist with timeless classics, songs you’ll know and love, from Queen, Cher, Lionel Richie, Tony Christie, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder, and Shania Twain to name just a few. This compilation will undoubtedly lift everyone’s spirits and there’s more. Show-stopping musical numbers that we all love to sing along with from Wicked and Hercules, but of course there is some Christmas silliness with panto favourites too- oh yes there is……

As everyone knows it takes a great team of party planners to organise and orchestrate a successful party, with ‘Christmas PARTYTIME’ being no exception to that rule. The skilful talents of the highly acclaimed Colin Matthews, the producer and director of this happy gathering along with his resident choreographer Lucy O’Neill and musical director Pete Leonard will ensure a cocktail with just the right mix, elegant, timeless and tasteful with just enough of a kick to leave you feeling merry.

The cast look forward to welcoming friends old and new as they get ready to laugh, sing and celebrate – because at the Babbacombe Theatre, the Christmas cheer starts early and lasts right into the New Year!
